This project involved the replacement of a cooling tower on the ground level of the JH Winters State Office Building. The existing cooling tower was old wooden towers and concrete sumps. This was replaced with new cooling towers and complete steel structure to support the new equipment.

Upon start-up of the cooling towers, a pre-existing leak in the existing underground piping was discovered by MPS. Thereafter, TBPC issued MPS a change-order to abandon the UG piping and install a new 20” CW piping circuit above ground. Causing the scope of the project to grow in size and complexity. MPS was able to complete the project and get the new cooling towers operating per specifications and drawings with the new piping installed.
